I am sorry I know you wanted to make it better but I think it is worse. Cant tell anymore when new posts have been made on the different threads harder to write a post as well.

That's a known issue and it's being worked on. Hold yer horsies :P

IMHO, this is better than the original format, though not perfect.

The post features are far superior to the old system and the layout is much better. There are issues with one but they are being worked on.

My requests for the new system are that the "mark as read" feature is brought back, editing of prior posts after someone else has posted get enabled and that they finally allow us to have signatures properly.

that they finally allow us to have signatures properly.

Zoomba said not to hold our breaths on signatures, but maybe character-limited strings.

Personally, I like it that way, even though some people make great banner sigs, it's annoying to scroll though whole pages of those :P

Yeah, but a single line or character limited would be nice to have.

Read/unread detection and other missing features will be returning over time. This was noted in the initial announcement about the downtime. Believe me, I want that one in particular back far more than you guys do.

Not disputing that one, I have some neat quotes to put in if it happens :P

I like the fact that blobs of white text over a dark background don't blind me as much as the old style used to. But i'm still sure if i stare unmoving at a line of text long enough i can close my eyes and read it.

Developers:

Please set your screens for large (120dpi) fonts at some point during your testing.

Combine high resolution (1920x1200) displays - that have interpolation problems if you run them at anything but native resolution - with an aging population and you end up with a lot of people who are using large fonts - and a lot more who would be if they knew how!

Large fonts break a lot of web sites and text is running past the right margin on this forum making it difficult to read.

It is good to know we have an in-house champion fighting for the cause.
