Question about Metaverse Frogboy

Does playing an older patched version of the game lower your score on the Metaverse when you submit scores( I note the scores show version)? Any incites welcome Frogboy.
I currently have not updated to 1.03 because I have a couple games of different sizes going and like the pre 1.03 right now. I am not an online junky and a game may take me a week of more to complete, especially the huge games. Worried constand updates, which is a great, will nerf scores for those of us not constantly updating.
