Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

Meh...  Loading and loading wont help.  I've been letting them AI kill themselves for a while, so far I've found one crash producer.

If you want to try fixing it yourselves, add BuffDecloakMineForMovement to the entity manifest.  I'm still testing though, so I can't guarantee that being the only crash, just the first I ran into.

The good news is I have write access, so I'm fixing their sync version as I find them and they should be able to put out an update soon for the less brave. :)

Edit:  Well, that's three AI games at 8x speed with all sides involved, and no more crashes.

Just finished a good 3 hour play time with the Wraith and Asurans with no issues.  Fantastic mod guys!

holy shit its released? downloaded, will try it out when i have time, thanks

p.s. might want to release an updated version with the patch in the post above mine and edit it into the op

Might be released but think of it as a OPEN beta version to nail out the kinks and spray the bugs... as well as balancing each race and balancing the battle/ship system

IMO, fighter style movement for capitals just isnt right...otherwise   excelent mod so far...

Downloading it now, I'll be playing as soon as I get back from work. Can't wait.

I take it "Alpha" means, first half? As opposed to pre-beta.

I have been really enjoying the Tau'ri part of the mod, so I am really looking forward to this, thanks to the entire SGI team!

is it normal for a level 10 atlantis to have 100% mitigation???|[/e]

I noticed this as well.  100% mitigation essentially makes the city invincible, which technically is the truth since with 3 ZPM's we know of nothing capable of depleting the city's shields.  But when you consider that level 10 Hives tend to have around 120,000 Hull points and that to get Atlantis to level 10 you have to put it through a lot combat, it doesn't sound too extreme.

They did say balancing is something yet to be worked on though.

Can we run this MOD on MAX setting and it will not mini-dump?

It's a bug. A level 10 Atlantis will be very, very strong, but it won't be invulnerable.

Can I play the mod with high/low settings?

And must I activate the minimod and the soa 2 Mod?

All settings should be supported, but remember many ships are not textured.

Must? Not at all. I guess if you wanted to enable both of them together you could, but I'm not sure it would work due to file differences between the mods.

Strong??.....more like godly.... it made  mincemeat out of a good sized fleet on its own, I could probably destroy it with some preparation, if the invunerability bug gets fixed.

Loving the Mod and hoping a talented texture guy gets hooked by it :).

OK 2 more bugs, the excalibur lagrange weapon systems doesnt affect wraith starbases (other ships blow up quite well :) )

The destiny ion bolt also doesnt affect wraith starbases.

Do I keep posting bugs here or in another place???

why is the font different from the base game?

great mod otherwise, although i think the militia are a bit too powerful

I have to admit i lol'd when i jumped to a pirate base and got lagrangian beamed by the rats. :) poor lvl 6 cerberus.....

This has to be one sweet mod but since it still in alpha, need some polishing still. Great work guys hope u keep it up, and i really laughed when my own Atlantis accidentally hit a pirate base and had a little battle with 2 hives. Just a little thing bugging me...you might want to make the text a little bit bigger, and the icons for ships and such in the frigate factory...the dark background really made it look like a big blob. And the drain planet ability on the city ship for Asurans, it fires from a side pier so its facing off into space while the city faces the planet.

Fixing this bug is a simple matter of opening up the CAPITALSHIP_ASURANCOLONY entity, finding the maxMitigation line and then changing the ValueIncreasePerLevel to 0.050000 instead of 0.051110.

It sits comfortably at 99% after this.

correct that will fix the issue, this particula issue has been corrected in the sync build. Also Atlantis class ships are the colony ships for a reason. The Asurans could easily build them and as such The are meant to be ungodly powerfull , but as with all ships they have weakness's

If you want to fix the Atlantis bug for yourself just edit the mitigation down in the entity file.

EDIT: Whoops. just noticed my advice was already given. Sorry
