ClansofSin.com Research Trees

The site is pretty bare bones for the minute, but Mr. Hide would never forgive me if I neglected to show of his latest brilliance.

For all the TEC, Advent, and Vasari players out there, here's a new toy... enjoy!

We're working on more information for other things, but are currently being held up by some formatting issues (mostly my trying to convince the website to display things in a nice, pretty manner rather than an ugly one... :D ) but you can see the Kol's website to see the beginnings of what we're doing for those.

We also intend to include a thorough, in depth strategy section, as well as supporting any serious clans who want some web / forum space. (Serious in the sense that they aren't just playing around at being a clan, they really are working to be one)

There is much high speed latest and greatest tech goodness we have planned to develop for the community on the site. Sadly things are slow in coming due to schedule and time issues on the part of the very small team of members.

@Ron - you should change the title to reflect the domain name to make things more clear.

Oh nice job! Your effort is VERY much appreciated. I do a lot of Sins discussion and head-scratching at work, and don't have the game here to refer to. This is awesome.

Thanks very much.

The one issue: I can't get the pop-ups to work. Requires AJAX? I'm using IE6, being a work computer, so maybe it's a "good browser" plug in or soemthing. Not a huge problem - I know what most of those techs are - but if it's something you can easily fix, that'd be great.

BTW: does anyone have the manual online for download?

While I'm glad to see the tech tree published online (it'll help fill my lunch hour now), I'd like to see some writeups on the individual techs themselves, as to what to expect from it. And how to make best use of the technology it gains, etc...

@Smelly - I'm not sure about the IE thing and Ajax. We all use Firefox. I was ask programmer type about it.

@Wiz - we are working on a complete information archive but work is slow given we are all very busy people and everyone doing this stuff on love time. I cant really push people in this situation like I would push my employees. For the record I have even offered to compensate them directly to facilitate more expedient production but they all refused. The best I can say we will get to it when we get to it. If we had more help that would shorten the time lines for sure.

I'm planning to do that for all of the ships (one by one by one... when I'm not feeling like my face is going to explode... I hate the flu!) but I don't see that happening for the technologies. Maybe a couple of specific notes on technologies of interest, but thats about it.

Yeah, well, don't blame me except for the ugly parts, ok? I'm clueless on how to format the stuff right...
