Dont listen to the nah sayers this game is great.

I was playing random map with 3 ai free for all. snagged 3 nice planets pretty quick, then I slowly started 2 attack 2 ai simultanusly, after realizing the error of my ways I leave a sizable defense fleet at one planet that is loaded with defenses and its the one the vasari keep attacking.

Now to deal with the advent, with 2 battleships and nice size fleet I finaly end the stale mate with the advent and kick them out of a system and begin my planet hopping.

set up some minor defenses and jump to planet 2, what I failed to realize though was that the sneaky vasari has beacons up and working and had taken a very profitable and wells set up terran world from me.

This eventually finished me because there beacons where all over the place and I had focused very little on civilian tech.

This game may start of a little slow but boy is does it pick up and its tense at times and fun.

Just hoping for 2 new races and perhaps and some nice ending movie videos for the next update in about 8 months(my guess)

Yeah Im enjoying it as well.

You bring up a good point as well. I would have loved for them to make some mini "Winner" movies. Yeah do them in the same style as the intro movie but do like 3 (or even 6) little movies one for each race that plays after you win a game. Would just be a neat little addition. Heck I even have a cool suggestion that would be super easy for the devs....

Instead of the current "Victory" screen...have a slightly bigger window come up with music playing saying Victory and scroll just a couple paragraphs or lore themed stuff about your victory and maybe to customize it a bit highlight 3-5 various things about your victory. Then have the button to get to stats etc. Just a small touch.
