Some quick questions after a day of playing

1. Is there an option to leave up the infocard of the selected ship? Right now it only stays up as long as I have my mouse on it or have my mouse in the central picture icon thing.

2. I'm not ready to do this yet (play online), but is there online matchmaking or just playing with friends? When I made an account and logged in during the game just to see, the only thing I could do seemed to be "add friends", "Create game", or "Join game" which all seemed to require having friends entered.

3. What exactly triggers more construction ships to spawn on a planet? I notice that it eventually goes up after doing some upgrades, but am not sure exactly which one triggers it.

4. Can TEC ships not put an extracter on a mine that is in a non-colonizable zone? I could eventually get stuff from them once I had orbital refineries on nearby planets, but on my 2nd game playing Vesari (sp?) my units automatically built a crystal extractor at a nearby gas planet out of nowhere.

Thanks, loving the game so far!

1) Nope, but you can also show info cards by hovering over the icons on the empire tree.

2) There is online matchmaking :) ICO (Ironclad Online) has its own lobby where everyone shows up and anyone can host/join games. As an aside, you can limit hosted games to "friends only", but that's off by default.

3) Logistic and Tactical planet upgrades create more construction ships (I believe 3 is max). The info card for the upgrade will show you if you're getting an extra one.

4) The non-colonizeable extractors are capturable (not buildable). The TEC and Advent use their Colony frigates to capture them, I believe, and the Vasari use their scout ship. They can't be destroyed, only captured :)

I've been wondering how to capture with the Vasari. Wouldn't have thought to check the scouts.
