No it means that for some reason you lost the boot.ini file. The harddrive might be okey unless it have broke down and deleted the boot.ini file.

You got the windows CD ? might try a repair, but im not sure if that helps else try and install windows from scratch

Let me take a quick peek on the EVE-Online forums, they had a bit of a problem a while back involving that file. The repair procedure should still be up. Will report back as soon as i can.

Sweet thanks. I havent really had time to mess with it much started doing it on sunday night and i work till 7pm every night so not alot of time to trouble shooting being that i go to bed around 10. So if you guys could give me any info would help. Oh and it works sometimes as well it took me 15 restarts last night to get it into windows but it did then worked fine then crashed over night when i left my pc on. There is a blue screen that pops up but it goes away before i can read any of the error code stuff.

Option C: You have a Windows OS CD available

* Place the Windows CD into the CD drive and turn on or reboot the machine
* When you get the message Press any key to boot from cd.... (press any key)
* Windows Setup screen will start and it will start to load needed files
* Once the Welcome to Setup screen appears, choose R to Repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console

* On the Recovery console you will be prompted with the Windows installation you would like to use. Use the correct number for your install and press
