Where's the manual?

I've downloaded the game, installed, run through the tutorials, but I'd really like to read through the manual that describes some things in detail. Is the manual available for download as well?

The manual was already downloaded with the game. It's called manual.pdf in your root Sins install folder :)

You already have it in your Sins directory. 

Probably something like:

C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\Sins of a Solar Empire\

You will see something named "manual" - trust me it is there.

Is this not in the FAQ? I think for the next update IC should install a link on the desktop to it.

Yea, highly recommended. That's such a common thing these days I just assumed no link at install time meant no manual came with it.

Yea, a random sample of 5 games on my system now and every one has the manual linked in it's start menu group.

Ick, yuck, no thank you. Why are you cluttering up my desktop, when you've already got a stardock games folder in the start menu -- that has a link to the PDF!

Certainly regretting not copying the .PDF to a USB drive or something to read during the day. Hope they officially upload it at some point soon for at-work reading material!
