I understand that I can use one serial on two machines for LAN play (?). I bought my Sins through Stardock / download.
Here's my plan:
I have a friend, and we're planning to play Sins on LAN this weekend. He must be converted to the Sin-side. His girlfriend, being a most excellent girlfriend, is keen to play, too, as long as she's playing with us and not on her own. So I've decided to buy them a copy.
So we'll have 3 machines and 2 copies, which I think will work.
The question, then, is: am I an idiot? Will this work?
Do I buy a second copy on my account, then log into my TGN/Stardock account with each machine to download another copy? Or is there an installation file I can tansfer around? Or do I try to give my TGN tokens to his account (if that's even possible) and download from there? I don't remember being asked for a serial when I installed Sins with this account - though I often forget to wear PANTS, so that's not really saying much.
Anyway, advice of feasibility is much appreciated.
Apologies for the long time before replies to help or questions - I, like a large proportion of the Sins community right now who have been finishing off - or acting as - tenacious enemies, really need some sleep.
