Salvagin - how does it work?

OK please do not tell me to "search" ive searched both "Salvage" and "Salvaging" and neither come up with anythin that answers the question ...

How does it salvagin work as Vassari ??? i don't understand it i know there are 2 researches that further advance it but i dont actually see it there to be advanced from the off? what ship is used to salvage i cant see it anywhere???

The first level gives you back more when you scuttle things. The second level gives you automatic resources when there is recently destroyed ships (i.e ship debris) in a gravity well in which you have ships. It doesn't matter which ship you have, you get the resources.

thanks for the speedy response .... i dunno being a new guy that was very unclear woulda been wiser to make Scuttle say Salvage for Vassari ... reguardless that makes sense nwo thank you!
