WHAT DOES AA DO ANYWAY??

Running everything maxed excluding AA, which is set to 2x.

35-45 fps with 145 stars.

That's what you guys should REALLY do to test your system!

EVGA 8800GT 512MB
4GB OCZ SLI ram

I plan to throw a 9800GT in there when they're released, then use the EVGA step-up to upgrade my existing card to run sli. Also look forward to overclocking the cpu+memory+gpu at that time as well. :CONGRAT: 

The game runs at 1920x1200 and all effects enabled/maxed. When my entire fleet of 16caps+ship slots maxed is battling an opponent's fleet and I'm zoomed in up close, it does stutter a little bit. ;) Just finished a 10player FFA last night  :CONGRAT:

I run it at 1680X1050 with everything on high and no AA

BTW This is on my laptop; this game was very well optimized I can't run any other game at 1680X1050 with graphics higher than medium.
