So I am interested in this game, and going to get this game preorder through stardock, in its current form as a pre-order is that the final version?

Pre-order just means that you order ahead of time and it'll ship when it becomes available. So yes, pre-order will get you the final version on Feb 4th ;)

I relplied with out really thinking out my thoughts:)

What I was thinkign is that if I pre ordered the game now, I could download it in some type of beta form and I guess when the game actaully came out, there would be a patch that updated it.

Oh, well, there's still a beta version but as Frogboy keeps pointing out, it's so different from the release that it probably isn't worth the hassle (the only way to download beta right now is to order with TGN tokens).

On top of that, you'd most likely just have to redownload the entire client on release, I really doubt there'd be a patch, considering how much is changing.

In short, given that the game is out in 5 days, you're probably better off not worrying about the beta ;)
