Any expected reviews before release?

Hey guys I just would like to know if anyone has any idea if there will be a review on the game before release? Alot of times devs will give either a .99 version to a reviewer to be reviewed to be released a day or more before the actual release date.. Just wanted to know if this will be done.

Well, I believe they've given a journalist or two access to their internal version -- caused quite a stir around here when he started asking questions about that version! -- but they're playing their cards close to their vest.

Yeah, I thought about that and went "wait a second..."

You can't do a review before release, its an absurdity (contradiction). All you can do, by definition, is previews.

Not to try and put down the game, im probably going to get it, but a game thats kept silent with no reviews until after people have biught it is never a good sign.

Hey there was a post of an Alpha review/preview whatever linked somewhere in these forums. Ill try to find it. I swear I read it at like 5 a.m. the other night.

Yeah thats sorta what i thought until PCGamer did a review of Crysis before it came out. By the time the magazine came out it was 3 days until release and they already had the full version of the game. Normally you're right but in some cases there can be an early review.

I think most people are just looking to see what scores Sins is going to get.

My own prediction is 86%-90%

Well it truely does address all the pet peeves of rts and 4x gamers and blends the two genres into an innovative new type of game. On that merit alone it will get raves. And ya know it would only come from an indy company because they are hungry. They have to stand out to make it.
