You guys can use our Ventrilo server. The IP has changed recently due to a network upgrade. The new info is: 216.6.224.83:4929You will listed as a guest until one of the admin people like Ron add you to the membership list however.


Spartan... is your vent server still available for use by SSE players?

Yeah yesterday i had someone making a room for battlefield 2 lol. I told him that it was a sins only server as i cant host for the entire world, so he left :)

oh and im keeping an eye on the server all the time, from sins.bz. And AFAIK its only used for Sinners.

Dont get me wrong its okey to enter the server just to chat, just its intension is to be used for the awesome Sinners :d

ok well it looks like someone beat me to the punch but I too have one as well since i run TS servers (currently 3 with the sins one). Its open to all and has no password please feel free to join in as there are many rooms to hop in. I will be posting the IP in a separate topic so it can be brought to the top of the page insted of this one. Its nice to have 2 servers running (one vent and one TS) for those who prefer one over the other. Well see you all on.

hehe thanks sleepylazy, i work on it from time to time, just to add some small extra features. The site doesn't have a lot of forum posts but is used alot by people to upload there replay/mods and to watch if someone is online on TS :)

Just happy people actually like it :d

Sure lets have a game sometime, just drop me a mail and we can find a time to play :)

I don't understand TS a whole lot cuz I've never used it before but when i try to connect to server is says wrong name/password. What do i use for them?

I have one up, first time setting up TS server. In case Multiannas' goes down... :)

URL - sins.linuxmonkey.net (default port 8767)
PW - sins123

I have it accept up to 64 connections, should handle it easy. This is in a datacenter in Dallas on fat pipe. Will setup init script soon so restarts after each reboot...

That's what I was thinking; perhaps we should have a backup Vent server?

Portofu's server gives me a socket error...

I took mine down too. Had to blow away that server migrating from Debian to Ubuntu.

I don't plan to bring it back up unless there really is a need. I think Multianna's server is sufficient? Does seem to be heavily used.

Mine has been offline for some time now. Multi's was up since the beta and there really wasn't a need for mine. :) I mainly use mine to provide tech-support..hehe

uh, i just downloaded teemspeak after reading this (never used it before) and i dont know how to connect to servers - i probobly sound like and idiot but could some one tell me what to do? thanks;

I can, you start it up, then click;

-Connection --> Connect --> Local Addressbook -> Right Click --> New Server. name it Sins or whatever you want --> look to the right side, Label should already be filled out.

Put sins.no-ip.biz for the server adress, then whatever nickname you want or you can allow the server to assign you a nickname,

Now, there should be 2 circles select it as Anonymous and put sins as the password, and there you have it, you should be able to connect

This guide is written on the assumption you are using TeamSpeak 2

uh scrach that, its just offline but since im an a bit of a noob at TS i thought i did something wrong so, i dont need help.
