Joey Chestnut did it! He took back the belt for America!

Joey won the hot dog eating contest at Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY yesterday. That's the famous Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest held annually at Coney Island where the contestants compete by eating as many hot dogs as they can.

The winner of this contest has been a Japanese guy, a little guy too given he ate so much to win, named Takeru Kobayashi, for the past five years. It was going around the grapevine that Kobayashi would not compete this year because of problems with his jaw, that he couldn't get his mouth opened wide enough to no more than two fingers of food. He showed up and was able to eat 63 hot dogs with buns, while Joey ate 66!

P.s.  I eat hotdogs hardly ever,  saw this on tv and it grossed me out totally!!  Can you IMAGINE the tummy ache afterwards???

Yeah, the eating itself is really gross ad Loca said but they amaze me!

I just saw points,   wow you're doing good there serenity!    keep it up! 

hope the stuff is fixed now,  I took off and went to watch some tv,   FINALLY am getting cable back,  been over a year and I'm probably gonna have to use toothpicks to keep my eyes open after it's turned on!
