I'm confused

I've been reading peoples posts and noticed something - People seem to refer to Star systems containing planets - and that each map has so many star systems - and judging by what was said on some of the images there are 3 star systems per galaxy




So - is that a picture of a universe, containing 3 galaxies, with 61 solar systems, containing some unknown number of planets?

Or - is it a picture of a galaxy, containing 3 solar systems, with 61 planets?

Honestly I'm getting confused here - because 61 habitable planets in a galaxy with only 3 stars in it seems unlikely.

Ok I will clear it it. The game play is that of a galaxy containing systems.

What you see in that picture are 3 solar systems with something like 20 solar objects per system.

Each Game can have I think at max, some where between 10 - 15 solar systems with it looks to me about 20 solar objects.

They devs wanted an artistic look for the far out zoom levels so they look like galaxies.

That is a picture of the galaxy Frogboy chose to create for his game. In consists of 3 solar/star systems with a total of 61 planets. You will be able to customize the galaxy more to your liking though there are certain restrictions for gameplay purposes. As of today, I believe the maximum number of planets is 100 and the minimum is 10 (not accounting for homeplanets which is dependent on the number of players). If the in-game level of customization isn't enough, you can easily open up some text files and modify the restrictions. You can also change the solar system to not look like a galaxy if you are handy with any paint program.

While we strive for realism whenever possible, ultimately gameplay rules.
