A. "I am sorry.  I mis-spoke and I regret my words."

B. "I appologize for my statement that was made in anger and repented in leisure."

C. "I am sorry for my words and deeds.  They were wrong, and I have no excuse."

D. "I am sorry that people are too stupid to understand what I was really trying to say."
