i just bought the game but i'm not sure about it running here's what my computer is.

Your Memory is pretty low. For any PC that's going to be running games I'd recommend at least 1GB of RAM. Also, your Page File is too small.  If Windows is adjusting that itself, I think it'll take care of things; otherwise I'd boost it to 1GB. Still, I think GalCiv II should function (certainly with a larger Page File) unless your video card has issues.

Memory is very inexpensive and easy to upgrade, I would recommend installing more regardless.

Do you know if you have 2 slots for memory or more?

If you have 2 then you could upgrade with another stick of 256 assuming that's what's inside right now other wise if you have 4 slots another 2 sticks of 128 which I think you probably have right now would give you the most bang for the buck. Let me know if you aren't sure about that I am pretty good with RAM upgrades.
