I was never exactly a cat lover until I got Socrates, but I have to admit he's pretty cool. So, do you like cats? Why or why not?

I know this old Mexican dude who swears and be-damns they make the best tamales but I've never been that drunk enough to try one.

This just makes me think of Cheech Marin's speech in From Dusk 'til Dawn.

Meanwhile, I love putty tat's but the wifey is allergic. I joked many years ago (when I had to give up the cat -- gave him to my mother to care for) that I traded one putty for another My daughter would love to have one also, and a putty tat will probably be the first thing she gets when she moves out on her own. (Just guessing). If the wife ever left, there'd certainly be a putty tat here keepin' me company.

I used to like dogs better than cats, but I got so tired of dogs barking a lot for no good reason, especially in the middle of the night. I love my cat.

I love cats and have had a number of them throughout my life. The one I have at the moment, a ginger lady, is probably the best cat I've ever had. She is smart, sassy and independant. I guess that is what I like most about them; dogs seek and require a lot of attention from you whereas cats don't often seek you out but when they do, you feel priveleged for it.

Actually, my daughter did pick up this book at the library and I read it to her, nothing wrong with that. I just fought to keep a straight face with all the puns running through my head!

But yeah, I like cats too!

I love cats. If the apartment we moved to down here didn't a $300 pet deposit and an additional $40 per month rent for the pet, we'd still have our little calico. Sweetest little thing. Now, she's with my parents and their two toms. And she rules the roost.

There is one thing we can now agree after your little bout of bad language. I too love cats and have a shelter for stray cats and other animals in the city where I live and work. Look after him.

Bummer about the deposit but understandable considering how some people allow their pets to destroy a place. The extra rent is outrageous though.
