Why are my dreams so hot? ii

So I just wrote an article about some dreams I've been having.

I am an honest person who is unafraid of being 100% human and very introspective about it.

I know every human is connected because we all have hopes, fears, yearnings, fantasies. So I chose to share some of my dreams, imagining that some people might sympathize.

Having subconscious fantasies does NOT make me a prostitute (as one commenter put it. I never did like him anyway. BLACKLIST for you, you know who you are). Indeed you may know few women like myself who are so unquestionably monogamous and faithful to their husbands.

Apparently JU couldn't handle my article. Talk about a bunch of drooling, purile men. What? You had nothing constructive or mature to say?

I've always known that such things are meant to be shared with only one confidante. But I blogged it. That was my mistake.

I hope is was not my comment that aggrivated you. It was an honest question from a honest person to a honest person.

I saw what the person above me said though so I think you are referring to him.

I will not ask you the same question again for fear that it is what made you mad unless you want me to.

If you're referring to me, sorry you didn't see that it was a joke. Maybe it's your hormones.

If that were true (about the Prostitute part) would having hot dreams by a man make him a gigolo?

You mean I am not a gigolo?

Caracarn: Although you did turn a knife in a familiar wound of mine, I admit I did open myself up for comments by putting it out there. The question you asked was honest and I can't blame you for wondering. It's just something in my personal life I'm working out.

I guess I still have a hard time believing that anyone reads my blog!

Dana: Hello, we're online at the same time...woohoo! I'm kinda relieved that you didn't read it, although I'll email it to you if you're dying of curiosity. I hope you wouldn't freak out though. Gosh, I may have to edit it still!

Well I've seen you around, and I'm kinda familiar with the darker corners of your mind. if you'd like to hang around my blog whenever you choose, please summon up some tact before you hit the submit button. I'm sure others would appreciate the same courtesy from you.

oh,  sorry you're getting rude bloggers!

from an old lady to a young lady,  and I didn't see the blog about your dreams,  dreams are neat and if they're sexual that's normal because we're human!!  Especially for a young woman to dream about sex is normal.  Good Lord...unreal what some one must have said to you!

I'd love to be brave enough to post about my dreams,  the weird ones along with all the rest of it!  It'd probably gross most out tho! ,  since I am approaching 60!

More power to ya Angela for your courage and you're being upfront about what's perfectly normal!

Did I miss out on you letting your hair down and being a tad bit kinky?

Bummer.

PS - Fantasies are a normal part of healthy human sexuality. Hot dreams are also normal, but tend to increase in frequency and in...umm...HEAT...during pregnancy! Enjoy it!

Whew, I guess it wasn't me as I see I'm not blacklisted. But then all I did was agree it sounded like a hot dream! Heh, I remember when my wife was pregnant (can't recall which time) she had this "thing" for things dusty! She said she even pulled over once to watch a dump truck dump a load of sand at a construction site just to watch all the dust fill the air!

So, yeah. Pregnancy does all kinds of weird things to women. But my wife will tell ya any old day its worth it all.

I didnt read your article, but I wanted to blog about something similar and I didnt because I WAS SCARED to share it. I say Go Angela! You were brave enough to put yourself out there, too bad some people didnt respond to it the way you wish they did.

Angela,

From the sound of it, I'm sorry I missed the article. It would be nice to see that side of you from time to time, frankly.

A little friendly advice, though. A HUGE problem with blogging is that you often get blunt, unedited responses to what you write. Don't be afraid to blacklist liberally anyone who's a consistent problem, and be prepared to take a lot of heat. It's hard, I know, but I believe that your sensitivity to criticism is your biggest obstacle as a writer.

But my advice and a buck will get you a soda at the Kwik-E-Mart.

I read it.

I didn't get to see what comments got ya though.....

When I was pregnant with my first son I experienced my first "wet" dream. Always up to that point my erotic dreams would get me aroused, but that was it...I'd wake up that way.

I guess because everything "down there" gets bigger and there is more blood flow when pregnant...well lets just say I was having such great sex in my dreams I always wanted to sleep!! And my husband was getting jealous.

No Kidding!

Enjoy it!

I am thoroughly enjoying these delicious dreams. Can't wait to get to sleep every day!

A point I tried to make in the original article that was probably ECLIPSED by the dream descriptions was, "Why can't reality be this good?"

when my wife was pregnant (can't recall which time) she had this "thing" for things dusty!

I've heard of stuff like that...doctors often ask pregnant women if they've had cravings for dirt, laundry starch (what's that?), paint chips, etc. It's some sort of disorder called "Pica." Doctors during my first pregnancy kept asking me if I'd developed any such cravings. Nope. They haven't asked me this time, but, Nope. Thank goodness nothing like that. Just a libido that's gone through the roof!!

That leads me to wonder what biological purpose is a skyrocketing libido during pregnancy?! Isn't sex for making children? What's wrong with my libido the rest of the time? Why now?

I wanted to blog about something similar and I didnt because I WAS SCARED to share it.

Gosh, everyone should be so honest. Having such thoughts doesn't have to define who we are as people. We're entitled to experience life and express ourselves, right? But somehow it's taboo. Now I see why so many women write romance novels, giving them an acceptable outlet to express their fantasies in the guise of fiction.

sorry i missed it!

you should repost it, blacklist the children who cant handle it, and delete any rude remarks.

Thinking about it...But rather than blacklisting people, I thought I'd customize an audience of those I trust. Generally that includes those whose blogs I follow and have formed any minute amount of trust with. And anyone who's expressed interest on this thread is likely privy.

Thank you Tova! Now that's the kind of honest feedback I was hoping for.

I did not expound on your original article because I felt your dreams were just that, yours, and I did not want to step over any line, which I did anyways using a word I will never use again.
