The tree always wins.
 
I have seen lots of tree/car collisions.  The tree always wins.  The cars often put up a good fight, valiantly struggling to the end.  But in the end, the tree remains the victor.  Even if it is broken in half. 
 
The real losers are those in the car.  They NEVER win.

Electrical poles or light poles often win, too.

I saw a drunk driver one time. It looked like he meant to accelerate and wrap the front end of his Nova around an electrical pole.

He didn't but it sure looked like it. Car definately lost that one.

They always do.  What hurts the worst is when the innocent little ones in the car lose.  Because they lose big time.

The first car I lost due to damage was when it lost to a telephone pole. Fortunately, it was parked at the time and I wasn't in it. Just a really bad storm that took out a series of poles and my car was the only one damaged in the entire lot! HAHA!

The second car I lost came more to a draw with the car that crossed the highway and hit me head on. I took a beating on that one, too, but fortunately the '77 Impalas included the safety feature of six feet of steel in front of the driver.

Ugh. That sucks. Sorry you have to see things like that - I can imagine that it's really tough. Just think - once you're in practice, you won't probably see as many life-and-death situations, just lots of kidneys.

Trees win because they're cooler than cars, by the way. Mother Nature will always whoop ass on anything we build.

It is, at first. But I think that, in order to save your humanity, you have to sacrifice a little of it away. That is actually an upcoming blog.

I wonder what percentage of people would still drive if they spent a good amount of time in an ER or an ambulance and saw with their own eyes just how much damage a car wreck does to the human body?

That is so true. I am a naturally clumsy person and sometimes my driving isn't the greatest.

Each time I was getting out of the hospital after having my boys I didn't want to drive. Precious cargo. It scared me to death.

Ditches usually win too.

Especially ones with things in them that tear the tires off your wheels and shift the parts in your cars.

The muddy ones help, though. They usually keep your car from flipping. They still beat your car anyway, but not so much as the dry ones.

I hear you. Thankfully, I've never had to experience this sort of battle first hand. I've known a few that have, though. No one walks away unscathed.
