After seeing that it's New Iconia, it definitely appears that the game was modded or bugged in some way--that planet is fixed at 15 PQ and is a homeworld, so colonization events don't apply.

I didn't mod it, so unless a roommate of mine hit it up while I was a t class (not likely, more unlikely once you get to know them) it's fine. Could be a bug, I am using the D/L version with all the updates (as of yesterday, when it happened) so any bugs came from Stardock. I'd happily post the save or anything else Stardock would need to check it out, I just don't know how or where.

Ok everyone, here it is. I'm not too good with this whole link thing, so i don't know which one will work. The planet is located int he top right of the screen, "New Iconia" I think is the name.

You should probably get that planet. It has a potential population of 7780.340 billion.

From what I've read the maximum population cap is 100 billion for the best planets.

You can run an entire empire from that one planet....

Hehe, notice that depsite there being like 50 free tiles, the AI decided to build a factory on the morale bonus tile. OMG, use a free tile instead, silly computer!

I've had some 26's where I've gotten lucky with a event and chose the evil/extra PQ put me in the 30's but I've not seen this before either.

While going for the tech victory today, I found that my neighbor the Iconion Refuge had a class 72 planet in thier possesion! I don't know how to take a screen shot (as everyone will proberbly think I'm lieing), but I made a savegame of it. No mods involved, it was stinking awesome!

It was probably a 'perfect' planet to start, then the AI got an insane colonization event and picked the evil choice...

Actually New Iconia is fixed at 14 to start, at least now. So, if there were no mods or bugs
