Warning: do not do this if your version works fine - only if you are getting the failed to initialize problem after patching.
This appears to be related to the sound bugs some of you are encountering. As a workaround, please renamethe file "fmod.dll" in your sins directory (likely C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\Sins of a Solar Empire) to "oldfmod.dll". Then download a new fmod.dll from www.ironcladgames.com/sins/fmod.dll and place it in the sins directory.
