It's Hard to Get Eyeliner Off!

And Other Post Drama Production Revelations

I've had a few revelations when it comes to drama... (the theatre, that is)

1) Working with stage makeup is kind of like working with paints and pastels in Art. [ I did the make-up for the Frog Footman (carebear) and the Fish Footman, and actually had a lot of fun doing it.... and I'm still straight! I'll see if I can get some pictures ]

2) It's hard to get eyeliner off!

3) Cast parties are fun, but taking off your stage make-up at 1:30 AM is not.

4) It's worth every speck of effort to work on the play. I loved it, and enjoyed every minute of it. Along with that, I've made some new friends, and strengthened a lot of friendships.

5) Changing lines in the play is fun, and dangerous to your health (Then you'll see a large shrubbery! Then go round and round the shrubbery!)

6) The funniest moments come from the most unexpected places


All the pain and squeezed schedules paid off big time. I loved every moment of it, and I only wish I had found these things out sooner.

HE EH AHA HA!!!!! That was sooo much fun! I wouldn't have done tha right thing for the world. Even though I felt as if I were going to die of remorse as soon as I said it! You did a great job with the make up, Alex! Oh, and the closeing-time song at the cast party was absolutly riviting! We DID have so much fun, I wish you could be here with us next year, it won't be quite as fun with out you. *sigh

Well.....let's not be so sure about that..... heh, heh...I kid, I kid...as always.

Hmm, no matter how much stupid stuff you do...you'll always find something worth it in there somewhere.

Very True, Alex. Just think about having to wear eye makeup all the time...being a girl sucks!

That really sucks! I missed you singing! Stupid mom! lol.

Yeah the eyeliner....what do you think us girls put up with.....well except for me because I don't hardly ever wear eyeliner. But I bet your make up was a lot easier to get off than mine. But with all of that makeup and junk on, you made me feel beautiful anyways, so it didn't matter what I looked like.

Nope. Still batting for the same team.... I'm not sure if I should take that frock thing as a complement....
