What is implied in the common phrase “Don‘t hold your breath”?
Maybe it means, “Don’t put your life on hold until something that you want to happen occurs.
That something may be extremely unlikely, but in any case, that’s a future event.
Now is where you are.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for something else…
Live for the moment, and don’t turn back.”
I’m not going to wait anymore, you’re not worth it.
