There is absolutely no way in the mortal world that Christmas can exist in harmony with other religious holidays, the only way it has gotten this far is because it gives everyone raises and vacation time. I'm sick of people trying to tie in Hanukkah and Kwanza with Christmas...this togetherness stuff is only going to piss people off more. Trust me, every Christmas someone gets pissed about the open display of Santa, Jesus, and stuff like that. I'm not sure why, it's not like we're hypnotizing them or anything...well, not intentionally. If the holidays could just stay by themselves instead of breeding and turning out a bastard child called Christmahanukwanza or some shit like that, then I believe we'd all be much happier. It's nothing towards other religions, its just that it's bullshit to have a "politically correct" holiday season....see we have to use 'holiday' instead of Christmas. No one seems to mind, because being the 'good' Christians we are, we think everyone else will burn in hell for they're horrible transgressions. Damnit, guys it's December, that means Christmas on the 25th and Hanukkah this year appears to end a week before Christmas and they never put Kwanza on any of the calendars I have....so, let's show a bit of spirit and not care what the others think. Just because we're Christians, we're supposed to support everyone else's beliefs and supress our own because we're assholes? Well, the point I'm getting at is that Christmas is a day for celebrating Jesus's birth (Even though no one has a freaking clue) and a bit of Santa's fat ass for the kids...and people that aren't Christians won't like it but they will sure as hell take their Christmas vacation time and bonuses huh?
(Note: I'm a Christian yes, but hardly a hardcore one...I'm just generalizing the stereotype, I myself am not at all like that....but since it's a stereotype and I'm a Christian I can use it....so, hope that will deflect any arguments that may come my way)
So, see ya'll later,
