Here are some changes I want to the game. I might add some more later
It should be possible to select multiple in a fleet without doing anything special. Right now you have to hold shift in order to select multiple ships. If you let go of shift, then the next ship you select resets your selection.
Pick defense types for the auto ship designer to use. Right now the designer seems to favor the defense of whatever is most high tech. So if they are using point defense lv 1, you would have to research armor 2 or shields 2 to get your ships to change what defense type they use. I would like a slider system like GalCiv 2 had so I could chose the balance of defense. In fact, would like to have the option to skip defense altogether, instead relying on other kinds of defense such as hit points, tactical repair, or jamming.
I would also like to be able to order my ships to be redesigned when I want it. Some times you want to change ship equipment based upon what another civ is using. Maybe you want to change your defense type to something inferior (like point defense 1 from shields 2) because maybe its a better match to enemy weapons.
Planet Improvement list should not reset to top of list. When I try to place a planet improvement after scrolling down the list to find an item, this action resets the position to the top of the list. I want this to not happen. I might have several items I want in that position and reseting this is an annoyance.
Showing ship path. When you select a fleet and tell it to travel a far distance, it'll show a line showing its path. If it has movement points remaining, it'll move. It'll also show you in green how far it can travel in one turn. This green line shows up even if you have no movement points left over. I think that the green line should only be shown to reflect how many movement points you have left. Use yellow for everything else.
