I've noticed two problems when building new structures. If you already have a structure occupying the tile you cannot get the production/net income numbers for a new building by hovering the building over the tile like you would with an empty tile. This information would be handy to have quickly to compare net revenue of buildings. For example an aluminum mine that you might want to replace with solar panels late game but aren't sure of the exact net profit.
The tooltip also doesn't appear if a tile is currently under a black market event like Overload or EMP. The tooltip should show the production of the building that you want to build as if the effect wasn't there.
Since it is a game where split second decision making on swapping production can win or lose having more information quickly available is ideal. especially for newer players.
The tooltips are also missing for black market events that you have already purchased or received from goon squad defense or campaign bonuses. Not having all the black market events memorized it would be handy to be able to read what a network virus, overload or EMP does even if you have it already.
