After a battle I was awarded a summoner's ring (I don't know if that was the actual name of the ring), that was suppose to grant +1 to summons. It didn't end up in my inventory, but I definitely saw in in my after battle spoils.
I had assumed I would equip it on a unit and that summons to a battle that unit was in would be stronger, that didn't happen.
