I have a multi part question to do with singular units,
some units start off with a single figure, others get three and I have managed to "dominate" four figure bandit leaders. is it actually possible to get a one figure unit upgraded to a four figure unit? it greatly increases the health and damage output by adding a multiplier and I havent been able to upgrade a unit that far yet,
the second part of my question is would it acceptable to have a late game building that allows you to manually merge two units into say a 6 stack, so instead of getting two archer units for example, you could use some mana or whatever to make it a single six stack... im only putting this forward as in all the games i managed to play when i first introduced archers into my army they would get one shot by what ever caster i was facing as they get focused straight away and early to mid game without items i have found them to be completely useless.
Even if it was just lower tier buildable troops it was available for, Im not saying we should have 6 stacks of every unit (6 stack dragons / mages and mounted troops seems a little excessive) it would be nice to have the ability to make the lower tier troops seem relivant when you have an army of monsterously badass killing machines.
I have only got like 16 hours play so far so i may just be using them incorrectly or havent learned all the tricks, but its a little bit tedious trying to level up an archer for 6-7 battles for him to get one shot by an enemy caster.
