Put this in the wrong forum so here it is in the right one:

When starting a new game if you customize the Sovereign, i.e. change heroes and or spells, it reverts to pre beta 5 conditions, just clicking on the customize button does this. Specifically you CANNOT do the starter quests.

 When I started as standard Tinkerer, and choose the recipe path for the starting quests I get the following rewards

Wisdom (I think)

Recipe Round Shield

Recipe Chain gauntlets

Recipe Round Shield

Recipe Chain gauntlets

Basically the recipe repeats which doesn't help in anyway.

Just thought I would mention these.
