Beta 3 + opt-in. New game, Wizard, random, small.
Turn k ~ 3. South of Athica, I ended turn with a diagonal move across the south of a mountain. Hence I had no cloth-map sight to the landing hex until I actually arrived in it.
Turn k+1. The garrulous Wraith with Ceresa's Circle quest was standing in that hex! Tandis + Wraith are now overstacked in that hex.
- hex showed a (2) above it
- wiggling mouse made hex toggle its display between Tandis's group and the Wraith
I walked 1 hex off the Wraith, then talked to the Wraith. It gave me the Ceresa's Circle request.
- our mistress the Fallen Enchanter (haha) ... you're the son of the guy who beat her, we don't trust you
- bring us 3 flawed rubies
- Game engine imprints Ceresa's Circle on the map (leftward of Athica)
Then I moved Tandis to the end of his range. He was still showing the (2). And there was still a Wraith co-located in his ending hex. (I have a save file here, for turn k+1.) The original Wraith was still where I left him, just south of the mountain (and now 3 hexes left of Tandis + 2nd Wraith).
Turn k+2. I moved Tandis SE to a weak monster ring, won, then stepped SE to clear that monster ring. The 2nd Wraith stayed behind. Now there are two Wraiths on the map. Is this intended?
At end-turn, both Wraiths walked toward the Ceresa's Circle square. I guess they want to stand there (and wait for me to bring the rubies)? The 2nd Wraith was still in Tandis's way. Bumping into him opened a pop-up: "Try again in 23 days." So it seems that I can talk to either Wraith to finish the quest.
Are there really two Wraiths that just happened to be 1 Tandis-move apart from each other, so that I landed on both of them?
I'll upload ticket + save file after some wbb.
