Thanksgiving week is a good week for owners of Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes!

On November 25, the version 1.8 patch will be delivered for free to everyone. The latest patch adds five new monsters to the roster, including the flame-wreathed Gilden Lion and the battle-frenzied Obsidian Legion. Version 1.8 also changes up the way the game spawns lair guards, so you'll have not just new bad guys but new configurations of armies to beat up on as you expand your empire.

Second, the sixth DLC pack for Legendary Heroes drops on the same day. The 'Battlegrounds' DLC adds 15 tactical maps to fight on, from a ruined Imperial highway to a forgotten fortress deep in the desert sands. Random maps get a shot in the arm as well, with over 20 new stamps that add a ton of variety to the map generator.

The Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes 'Battlegrounds' DLC will be available on Tuesday, November 25 for just $4.99.
