First bug that wasn't a missing graphic:

Tyrant sovereign skill motivation causes all units to have negative movement and be stuck forever. See picture.

Guess I'll add to this thread.

 

Using guardian, and picked the champ skill for adding movement and ignoring terrain cost. The added movement point showed up, but terrain costs still seem to be in effect.

 

Also, graphical glitch in tactical combat. Getting a red cross along the whole battlefield, will try other graphic settings, but for now here is a pic:

Additional movement bugs:

Testing the other movement boosting abilities. Here a group of two units, one with pathfinder adding +1 move. 5 moves and 4 moves for the two units individually, making a total max move of 4. The group only gets 3/4 moves a turn. For the first turn the movement still reads as 3/3, sometimes it updates to 4/4, other times it seems to stick at 3/4...

Balance notes:

Stalkers, Varda the slayer and Tandis are still overpowered due to the ability 'Maul', which multiplies damage on units already having high initiative, movement and high base damage. Especially Varda... who gets even more movement, initiative and damage when alone.

Peregan the ranger is very weak and lacks a craftable bow option at the game start. Feels a little unloved. Pines over the loss of dead pet seagull.

Falcon unable to move on turn summoned, despite having 6/6 moves - I think it's using the lowest remaining move of the group, but it should be able to split from the group if it has more moves than the other units. (Old issue but I thought I'd say it again, new beta and all). Also after splitting it has 1/6 moves. (i.e. group move of 2 used instead of unit move of 6)

The third picture is the seagull struggling to fly over difficult terrain. (costing 3/6 moves per square despite it flying. Same issue for the flying hero Varda)

Amusing bug - you can equip Peregan the ranger with a sword and keep your ranged lethal shot ability (so he actually is much more effective). But for normal attacks he runs up and shoots them at point-blank range.

Talking about blanks... I don't know if it's helpful to point out the missing art/text files or not... I've been taking screenshots but it seems pointless to upload them as they're obviously just not in yet. (rather than being in but wrong/buggy).

I just had a strange bug. After an autoresolved battle during the enemy turn the game became unresponsive, animation moved but I couldn't click anything (escape did nothing) then every window started opening (spellbooks, quests, crafting etc.) after closing them all I was left with the screen empty but for the background animated flag... sadly the autosave doesn't trigger that bug. (A different unit attacks, the unit dies instead of winning and doesn't trigger the bug). It shows other bugs, red tiles and strange glitches... but not the first bug.

Tiny Graphical... annoyance:

Name of outpost is cut short unnecessarily. There's plenty of room for a longer name than "Ice Lord Stro..." it's only 2 characters longer for the full name.

 

Concerning text boxes:

Here the gap on the left of the text is much smaller than the gap on the right (3x wider), making the text look strange. None of them fit the tool-tip. Some look rather like a Haiku.

 Another graphical glitch. The minimap updates one turn after unlocking things that reveal it. (sensing shards, revealing SK fortress etc.) See minimap below:

((I do like the animations. Especially the fact that they take quite a while to loop for some units. The darklings above have 10 side swishy moves to 1 growling movement. Makes them look a little more real to have a longer loop with more actions in it.)

Hero death now causes doomsday increases *as well as* injuries. See below for poor injured Peregan:

I fought a battle with  a Warlock's army.

I noticed that there was an enemy combatant that had some weird name displayed. I believe it was an air shrill.

 

Warlocks are super tough. ;P   It killed Peregan in 2 shots using arcane arrow. Peregan's arrows barely scratched him.

It is definitely nice to see something that tough, though.

Anyway, since my hero died it said the doomsday counter was +10. However, I never saw an animation of it going up.

I had Vetrar, the big oaf, crash into the shard by my main city. He almost single handedly destroyed it, knocking it down to 3 hit points.

The SK chimes in and is outraged that I killed one of his Lootenants. I sarcastically told him that I needed the key.

However, I don't have the key and Vetrar seems to be stuck on the shard, almost as if he was frozen there. Ironic, I know. 

Anyway, I can't complete the game so I am sad.

After you click on the Red exclamation point in the top left corner and it  reveals the "go to" button, the go to button doesn't always seem to work.

I got the ability "Natures's Cloak". It is supposed to work only in your territory but it seems to fire wherever I am.

 

EDIT: I just loaded the game and Vetrar is gone. The mangled shard is still there with 3 hit points and I do not have the key.

Wellsoul, I believe it is called, is supposed to grant a lot of hit points for Keplin but it doesn't give him any hit points.

Cleave seems to be bugged. When a unit uses it, nothing happens. After pressing pass twice, then the animation happens and it deals the damage.

A lot of the time, an item like minor healing potion shows up twice on the crafting menu.

Finally, I saw a pair of Trog Archers move into the same square. It is annoying because I couldn't target the more damaged one.

I could put up a few dozen images for the skill trees/unit skills... they're obviously only bare-bones atm. Just the one picture then:

I clicked on the confusion scroll recipe and it had the picture of the Hunter's short sword. (The same was true for the Death Ward scroll recipe.)

When I clicked on craft, the game crashed to desktop.

I've seen more delay after a soldier used cleave. I clicked on the pass button twice and after about 5 seconds, the animation happened and the damage was dealt. I also noticed that that happened with Bill the spider when he used devour. I clicked the pass button twice and then 5 seconds later it happened. Ol' Aggie the Fire Lootenant took 5 damage. :grin:   (Sadly Bill took one for the team to the tune of 81 damage the next turn. However, his death was not in vain as ol' Aggie went down in a heap shortly after that. ;P )

This is a fun bug. :grin:

 

I have infinite mana. Or at least it displays it as 4294967296.0 mana.

Consequently, the doomsday counter is at 0 on turn 117 and I revived a whole heap of land for fun. I wish I had Crusade.

500th level units for the win! ;P

 

I believe the bug happened when the indifference event fired and I lost 50 mana. I went into negative mana and something screwed up.

 

Kind of makes the game easy, now. |-)

 

The only downside is that in battle, it says I have 0 mana so I can't use any special abilities that require mana. However, my sovereign can still cast spells in battle. :P

I noticed a red square and after casting revive land around it, it disappeared. :)

 

I also cast revive land on a horse resource and it disappeared.  :(

I just got gifted a unit by a minor faction. I was using the Guardian sovereign and I had summoned the falcon and was using it as a scout. For some reason the gifted unit was assigned to the falcon's army. Unfortunately, the falcon was on auto-explore and the falcon was over the ocean at the time. The gifted unit was spawned in the water and cannot move.

I would post a screen shot but I don't know how to capture the shot - what's the key bind for that?

I cast heal shard on a shard and now it says its hit points are 105/100. You can keep casting heal shard and the number keeps going up by 10.

The mini display on the right hand side still displays the shard as damaged, though. :P

I would post a screen shot but I don't know how to capture the shot - what's the key bind for that?

In steam you can use F12 to capture the screen.

It saves it in some obscure folder but after the game closes it gives you a pop-up where you can bring up the image folder (and make a shortcut to desktop to go back more quickly.) I used photobucket to upload the pictures, it's quite easy to drag and drop them once you've made an account.

Oh if F12 doesn't work, make sure you've enabled steam community for that game. It was this post from the steam forum that helped me:

You will met him again and again if you wander around that same area (he is one of the random encounters there).
Basically there is a conversation and you have to choose the right options all the way through it. If you choose all the right ones maybe you will have a new team member at the end of the conversation

For screenshots you can either set the game to windowed mode and use Print Screen button or in Steam you can enable steam community ingame and use the Screenshot shortcut key shown there (Steam->settings->IN-GAME tab->click enable Steam community ingame, and make sure the Screenshot shortcut key field has a key in it, default is F12). the screen shots taken via steam can be viewed by choosing view->screenshots in steam

Got another one.

The fire lieutenant... what's his name... he managed to kill himself on a shard after stomping around my territory for 30 turns or so (I couldn't kill him at that point). He didn't drop a key and I don't think he has respawned. I still have a couple of corners of the map to explore but it ain't looking good.

Also, the ice lieutenant is nowhere to be found. He has been AWHOL the entire game.
