your suggestions for chatty lines in GalCiv3

collected here

I like the snarky lines that crop up in GalCiv games. Lets create some and post them here. Then the developers may have more sources of inspiration. After all, margaritas only last so long.

My first suggestion:

"Oh, you are the new ambassador from Earth? Walk with me. I desire a stroll in my gardens. I always take first time visitors to see my palace gardens. Did you know I have an amazing collection of human femur bones adorned with wonderful intricate carvings. Most are by our most revered poet, a national treasure. What say you? Oh, they are the poet's more famous musings about friendship."

What snarky or humorous lines might you offer the developers?

How about comments that indirectly imply us*!

( not counting me lol)

All the civs leaders are members of a galactic blog*, and they read things people say there, and they say funny things about it in the game. Example.

" I wonder what I am 'going to name that star', once I conquer it?"

"get ready for some 'real time combat' because we're declaring war"

Lord kona: "just because we are friends doesn't mean you can date my daughter."

and since the devs are around each other every day they can put funny things we don't know they say as Easter eggs.

There was this badass commercial here in Quebec when I was a kid. Every kid around my age was fascinated ( or scared to death) by it. It is a living proof that there was more kickass things in the 80`s. I was tempted to write something about the Yor that would be based on it. But people outside quebec and outside my Age group would not get it
