Here's the update, finally got around to finishing it because this game get very buggy when it reaches 19-20+hours on a map very often.
Anyways, After tarth got rolled over, I selected altar as my next target....
One side effect of mowing the AI down means they will get tougher because their skyhigh unrest will go down as they lose cities and become enabled to start producing better units
After cutting down few bad towns from altar an epic battle around tandoor happened because it was buried behind a huge forest which I had to slog through and attack it. My armies got hit with 6+ tornadoes before one of them would finally reach the city and pummel it.
Also it is the first battle where I start to see good units from Altar.

And then other units in its army was decent/outright bad. And then I noticed a unit which was carrying a spear that looked funny for it's armor.... so I decided to investigate it..
Why so cheap to buy it a boar spear oh come on! At least let him have a boar spear instead of a ridiculous spear!
He did only like 2 damage to one of my guys before dying swiftly.

One of the bestest fortresses I have ever seen from the AI, no wonder why They fought like hell trying to keep it out of my hands, and it was the first fortress that I held my fingers off the raze button and ponder about keeping it.

Just another moment of the AI breaking many rules in the game

Oooh that's awfully smart of you titan, now I can't just dump a starfall on you then forget. I was forced to kill that titan before i could assault the city. Lost two steel golems to his weapons but he went down to my archers

This confirms that the AI know how to tame and create dragons for their armies at very least. It's good to know

Fully armored? Check.
Good weapon? Check.
Accessory ?
check!
Two devout warrior units plus 7 random trash units vs 9 good units of mine.... they died in vain to achieve nothing.

And, the ruin of firelands is bugged, I can't loot from it.
I sent heroes and random common units into it but I can't loot it.

Random screenshot as I ponder what was going through that poor city archer's mind with three giant golems surrounding him.

Another example of AI breaking tons and tons of rules
I assaulted this fortress with three steel golems, plus six Battlefield Wards which is guys in light plate armor and wielding longswords.
Apparently the AI can settle on shards. And I can improve the shards, I could click on it and build the upgrade despite the fortress being built on it!
And I screamed in horror when I saw what got revealed when I won the battle for this fortress.
TWO BANSHEES MY ARMY IS FUCKED!
The lich said something about me and my mom then assaulted the fortress instantly. My army got murdered by two banshees.
I suffered from bad case of butthurt on why they never attacked the fortress until I took it over and sent soliag the undefeated up ther eto light the banshees up then dumped a starfall on both of them.

Another case of AI units being retarded
Good armor and choice everything but.... icy spears? Why?
And he reminds me of sephiroth somehow.

Mausolos! This map is the first time I met that hero. Found him deep in altar lands and he joined me. I was like omg.
And yes, this golem have spell casting animations! I had him cast a fireball and he started to wave his arms around

I capped this village from altar then after awhile i decided to check it and realized it never grew....
I think ais could settle villages on tiles with 0 food!
