Are the basics different form FE?

Hello, I bought the game yestarday and I would like to watch some lets play videos to learn the game. Since the game is new, almost everything I find is Fallen Enchantress without Legendary Heroes. How much different is it? Will I miss much if I follow FE videos instead of LH?

And is there any good information website out there you can recommend me?

Have you tried the in-game tutorial yet? It does a pretty good job of getting new players started. Most of the other info you need to understand the basic game concepts and mechanics is in the Hiergamon (in game help).
