Hi Everyone, I recently started playing Fallen Enchantress and had a question regarding suggested traits to select when leveling up and whether there are some traits I should not be taking because they are not as useful. Along those lines here are some questions regarding specific traits as well
Path of the Governor - as useful as I think this would be, I generally keep my champions in the field fighting and leveling up. I am loathe to leave someone in a city and when I do it's because they have some great starting traits and won't survive long in the wild so I camp the +2 to research or guilders person in my man cities and keep the others fighting. Is this brach worth exploring? And if so, how do I quickly level them up enough to be worthwhile in a city? I know they gain experience much more slowly in a city. Any advice on how to level up a strong Governor champion?
Path of the Warrior - I generally use my champions in 2 ways - buffers or wizards. I either develop someone's spell casting to be a direct threat to targets or I put someon on the path of the defender or assassin to help out my army in general or be a champion sniper. Can I tank someone up so that they are as big a threat in melee combat as they would be in magic?
Are there some suggested traits I should grab in general no matter what kind of champion I am running?
