First off, love the game. I would recommend it to my friends if they actually played Turn-Based games. Anyway my experience has been fantastic I love most of the changes and will go over them and what ever else I thought of while playing. PS: I tend to find it hard to finish games (But I just won a magic victory! on normal haha) so this is from around 4 maybe 5 plays.


Design oversights or intentional?

Enchantment technology does not unlock "core unit" Mage for anyone that I played as, Magnar, Kraxis, Altar or Pariden.

Warg Riding technology unlocked nothing for Kraxis but unlocked a Slave Warg Rider for Magnar (Not sure if that is intended).

Is Shrink spell supposed to stack for a 100% reduction in attack? (That is what the darkling shaman has done to me, twice)

Attack bonus traits do not affect Mage based units as far as I can tell, like Fury, I can understand Strength and Muscle not working but why not Fury?

Magic Victory felt rather fast or do games normally end season 182ish? And while I was doing it there was not a damn thing my foes could do to stop me, maybe make a spell that costs a lot of mana (250+) but it interrupts the cast of the spell of making, so that way you can stop them from winning as long as you have the mana to keep it up. But if you could make the spell more expensive every time it is cast or add a crystal cost to it or something to make it so it can't go on forever would be great.

And onto Bugs

Candle cloak behaviour was strange not doing its intended effect and only damaging things once for 1 damage then no longer harming them or anything if I remember right is this intended?

Upgrade button for my troops stayed on when they where originally built with higher class weapons.

That seems to be my findings for now but on a personal note, I love the Fame/Champion system but think it needs a little adjustment. I like the new levelling system too and the new Tactical maps (though I have seen some strange placements for units).

All in all a fantastic game so far, I will try to win other ways and hopefully find more things to post about, If not that is good too because it means nothing else is looking strange!
