I would see it as interesting addition to the FE-world, when there would be more "event-like" things go on in the world.
At the moment the "moving around-creatures" are either liberated of their lairs by outpots- or city-building, or they walk some yields away from their home because new monsters were "born".
But I think the world could be even more interesting with, for example:
There is a concept in Warlock - Mage of the Arcane where you get easy missions, it is a simple trick because you do things you would have
done anyway, but it feels better...for example "your people ask you to build building xy and get xy as reward."
Another thing would be a artifact dealer or a mage tower.
You have the choice to deal peacefully with them or to attack them, but then you have to fear the revenge of their releatives/allys...
I think already the Hero-thing feels like the Mage Knight-Boardgame Gameplay.
There we also have villages where you can recruit basis units or you can pillage them.
We could give some residents of this nice world more "sense" this way, for example Robbers could "visit" you cities and steal your money or press money with threads to attack you when you do not pay unless you conquer their headquater or killed their boss.
I like the sound of "syndicate army" but all these people are just XP-Canonfodder....
I also would like some Baldurs-Gate-feeling with neutral armys lead by heroes protecting/patrolling special areas.
I like the world, but everything feels a little bit...schematic. The things are not... related... You mainly run around to kill and earn XP.
This makes fun, but it could be even more interesting ...
There are more possibilities, neutral towns, bazars, a protected pass between town hills where you are asked to pay entrance...
Quests are nice, but they disappear. So all these camps, manors and lairs are "once-only"-part of the world, perhaps we could create some stuff thats makes sense a little bit longer or is related to more stations...
Perhaps nice DLCs....
