While working over the UI for LH, could you please consider the following difficulties still in FE:

1. Currently, we cannot close some panels/screens, most notably the Ledger, but also most others screens, such as City Details, with a hotkey. Normally, the default ESC should do this; if for whatever reason this appears suboptimal, then hitting the hotkey which calls up the screen in question should do this, e.g.  hitting "d" again should close city details, or hitting "k" again should close the ledger. Having to click "done" manually with a mouse is quite bothersome for some of us.

2. There still appears to be no special hotkey which takes us directly to the submenues of the ledger, e.g. Research. Instead, we must open the ledger and manually click through the tabs. Would it be too much to ask to have some frequently used menues, such as Research, have their own hotkey? Or at least one we can assign if we want?
