Bigger maps let the AI play more peacefully in the beginning which allows them to fight more effectively later. Nothing is worse than seeing 2 civ's get stuck on 1-2 cities all game while 2 others steamroll the entire map.
The only problem I have noticed is that champions and sov's level up pretty slow.
However, upgrading "group size" instead of it being given is more fun.
I can't imagine winning any kind of victory under turn 100, but this game caters to multiple archetypes. I am an RP'er and I play more through my Sov and less through my civ.
Thus my game is focused more on specializing my champions, exploring and researching the green tree.
I can't wait to see the new scenarios! Also, I would like to see a TSL map for Anthys if possible. I have tried making my D&D world, and I tried making an erebus world, however both resulted in ultimate failure; i cannot name a specific improvement that will make it easier for people like me to make maps other than making the click-drag easier, and make placements of everything less annoying and sensitive.
I only try to post feedback in other threads with similar feedback to my own. I also try to avoid starting threads because they don't seem to generate much attention (like my anthys feedback thread). I don't fault you, after seeing Frogboy on quite a few other threads (one specific thread recently) discuss what kind of feedback is helpful, I am still structuring my feedback in a helpful way.
Thus, hopefully within the next few days when I get my essays finished I will put some attention to making a post which addresses the points of relevance rather than just blithering "fix this, do this, blah blah blah".
