FE: Running Great on my Budget Laptop!

Hi All: I just wanted to mention...That I visited my parents last week in Florida & play several hours of FE on my Samsung budget laptop (AMD A6 @ 2.9GHZ with GPU 7520G) Not exactly a "high-end" set up! I did upgrade my OB RAM to 8GB, as the 7520G GPU uses shared memory. At 1366x768 with high settings it rocked! Never a real hiccup @ all! Just an FYI....I don't use a laptop @ home, as I build my own desktop every 24-30 months. Just wanted to pass this along that the game doesn't really need a high-end system to run! Maybe @ higher resolutons....I'm really loving this game!

Now I don't own FE on steam personally, but my experience with steam is it is easy and possible, except they can't both be online at the same time (use offline mode on one of the machines)
Without steam it is no problem at all!

I cannot comment on Steam as I purchased mine through Stardock. I did install both games on my desktop & laptop. As the other poster mentioned...I'm sure you can't have both running @ the same time.

Can't have both running at same time, can install on both just fine.  Can have both running if each is in offline mode.

steam offers you many PCs to play on, just cant all have same account onlined at same time. thus, many PCs offlined can play the same game....

On the other hand, it really dragged on my 3y old, but not budget, Lenovo laptop; here's hoping 1.3 runs better.

Can you just copy the game folder from desktop to laptop, or do you have to do a "proper install" (and have to download the entire game again) ?
