I actually thought about this a little last night after an awesome day, the answer that came to mind is L5R.
I can just see many mechanics converting over all, though the team would probably have to add dual wielding.
that is actually a great idea. i think it could work.
dual wielding might be able to work with the mechanics in place now if you either just make a set of swords as a combined two hand weapon or if you can have the offhand weapon be a kind of shield that has offensive stats instead of defense and the graphic/icon of a sword.
