it would be nice if the diplomatic AI was more considerate in general.
Like when one of my cities is annihilated by a rampaging wild juggernaut, and my altarian "allies" move in a sneaky pioneer 2 turns after the city is gone. Or when a peaceful neighbor shoves outposts into tiny spaces between my cities, blocking a road tile and stealing a warg den
In general i don't see alot of point in alliances or peace. The AI still behaves aggressively and doesn't respect your territory regardless of relations. A non agression pact just strips you of all means to retaliate against them.
There was even one incident where the resoln, who i had a non agression pact with, expanded their territory to capture an outpost of mine that was on a narrow path. A path so narrow that my sovereign was trapped on the other side and couldn't get home for about 30 turns.
I think the ai needs to learn to be more considerate and intelligent with property. We need diplomatic tools to demand the handover of outposts that are too close to your territory, and means to prematurely end alliances/pacts under circumstances like these. Also map buildings blocking unit passage is infuriating. why can't i walk through a neighbor's outpost if i'm at peace with them
