I guess I have too much time on my hands (that or that my graphics card is running so hot that as soon as I fire up FE, it melts into blue screen and starts checking my disk for integrity during boot up :/)
I've compiled several of the changelogs (not all of them, boring as hell, so the sample is from 7 changelogs starting at 0.913, but I know I missed few) and guess what.
in total they had 871 entries, I've modified (by gut feeling), the workload of balance by half and AI multiplied by two.
content/features was covered in 148 entires (17%)
fixes had 206 entries (24%)
balance had 267 entries (31%), but those are usually very simple ones (like change from 2 to 1 on some items stat) (modified 15%)
AI had only 118 entries (14%), but those are usually very compact ones (like AI is massively smarter about sth) (modified 27%)
Cosmetic (with small UI part) only 102 entries (12%)
and a new category in the latest ones Scenario (30 entries, 3%)
what does it tell us?
SD is burning its working hours on fixes and AI (51% in total) making the game more stable and smarter in general.
features, content and balance of that content takes one third of the effort (29%) making the game 'wider' in general.
cosmetic/UI/Scenario take 15%, meaning that the game looks better.
Now are those good values at the stage of the game we are now? discussion open.
