Anyone use the Noble profession? I am trying to figure out how to justify it to myself.
Noble: +1 Prestige, 5% less unrest across your nation
Now +1 prestige has a pretty obvious benefit, but in the early game my cities tend to not have enough food to keep growing and so prestige gets wasted. In the late game you have a lot of cities and prestige gets spread more thinly. Since all of the early civ techs (and a bunch of others) have +1 prestige I am not sure how much of a benefit this is.
5% less unrest also has obvious benefits in that it allows you to tax your people and still be 5% more efficient in your build queues. But how much is it actually worth?
