The art style of FE is not really my cup of tea to be honest. I don't have much problems with older 2D games (WBC3, AOW2, etc.) since they offer at least sharp and crisp textures. However, in FE everything I don't like in 3D engines is almost glorified. Everything is blurred and looks like it was washed with 200 degrees in the washing machine. No details anywhere to find and some very strange colors.

I wanted to buy this game because I kind of owe it Kael for his amazing Fall from Heaven 2 mod. However, the art is a real turn off for me. I might still appreciate the game if the mechanics are good, just like Dominions 3. However, if there would be an art mod that offers better textures, my decision would be much easier. Is there anything available or at least planned for FE yet?
