Unarmed Blunt x2

Never needed to ask this before but I just ran into the situation where I can.

Could every sov and champ get an unarmed "weapon". Its a fist icon/weapon you cant sell or trade. The normal dagger you equip now is +4 initiative and 6 cutting 1 crit and something else.

Any way for a 2x blunt for bare fisted with a +6 or more initiative, plus whatever rings and jewelry you may have?

Not sure how the AI would look at that in terms of its options. I just wanted my sov to be spitting out majic as fast as possible. Having to equip a dagger for that is a bit counter-intuitive.

Anyone with an idea on that?

You have plenty of backup, don't worry about that. It's beating a dead horse. Lots of beta feedback that having to equip daggers to spellcast is silly. Didn't change.

actually, i don't think this suggestion came up in the beta. I'm looking at the idea of the sov/champ/henchman (sion?) have a stat for carrying no weapon.

In the case of spellcasting units, it would be relevant too.

Would this same effect be achieved by taking all units and adding +4 to their initiative, then taking each item and subtracting 4 from each of their initiatives. that is to say the dagger gets +0 to initiative, the sword then gets -6 (starts with -2 I think). So forth. Monsters would also get the buff on their initiative to maintain fairness. I think this would be rather tedious but accomplish the same thing I think.
