You need to have bought the game direct or registered it back in 2010 to be eligible. If you purchased a retail copy and never registered it, support may be able to work something out if you can prove when you purchased it but I wouldn't count on it.
That said, you'll want to email support@stardock.com either way and they should be able to help get the game registered so you can at least download/update WoM.
